# Industry Sectors

[Index](https://internationalgamingawards.com/) › [Categories](https://internationalgamingawards.com/categories/) › Industry Sectors

Sector groupings exist so that entries are compared against work of a similar kind. A venue business and a payments vendor answer to very different constraints, and judging them in one pool tells a reader almost nothing. These groupings are the ones most commonly used when a slate is organised by trade area rather than by division.
